For a handyman

We celebrated a collegues 50 years birthday yesterday, and I was asked to make a card, which I naturally was happy to do :-) He is a real handy man who has an eye for good tools, so then the theme was obvious. And what could possibly be more suitable than a tool belt? Here's a quite a number of photos ;-)

First I wetted the cardstock under the water tap, then I crumpled up the paper and finally ironed it dry. And eventually I have used a sewing machine on cardstock for the first time :-) The pocket in the middle is adjusted to fit in a gift certificate (for tools, naturally), and the rest is sewed by eye. The ribbon is loose inside the belt and has two button holes.

Et lite "nøkkelknippe" :-)

A small "bunch of keys" :-)

Ikke Blåkläder, men...

Not a trademark like Blåkläder, but...

... et aldri så lite personlig stempel :-)

... an ever so little personal stamp :-)

Birthday greetings and name list on tags. The number 50 is tiny alphas with Crackle paint on.

I participate in the following challenges:
Shopping our stash challenge #54: Father's day or masculine
Art with no bounderies #86: Anythings goes heavy metal

Ha en fin kveld og tusen takk for at du tittet innom :-)

Have a great rest of the day and thank you for stopping by :-)
